Exchange / MS365 Email Creation

  1. Log into our Microsoft 365 account – details can be found in lastpass.
  2. Go to Admin, Users
  3. On the ‘Users’ screen, add a new user.
    • The Username is the desired email address.
    • Generate a password automatically, and note this down. You will need to send this to the customer.
    • Tick the box to allow the user to set a new password on first sign in.
  4. Check the license option they need – please confirm with account manager whether they need Exchange Online (online emails only), MS365 Business Basic (online emails & online apps), MS365 Business Standard (emails & apps, online & download).
  5. Follow through the steps on screen to finalise the setup, then send the user their details.
  6. Note, they can login online via login.microsoftonline.com.
