As we are a small team we all need to work together at keeping the office clean and tidy, here are some of the general and basic tasks we expect you all to follow please.
Kitchen
- Please make sure the kitchen is tidy at all times
- Please ensure things are put away and sides are cleaned down after you have used them
- Make sure there is always milk in the fridge and always check the use before date. If the milk is out of date throw it away and let Toma or Amy know we need to purchase more or purchase some yourself
- Make sure the kettle/filter is filled up after each use and put on boil ready for the next person to use
Desks
- We would like you to have a clean desk please, there is no excuse for having dirty cups or plates on your desk.
Printers
- Please check the printers in the morning to see whether they need more paper
- You will find paper in the draws underneath the printers
- Please advise Amy if we are running low on paper. We all use the printers so this is everyone’s responsibility
Toilets Etiquette
- Please ensure you keep this tidy at all times
- If the toilet roll runs out please put a new one in the holder don’t wait for someone else to do this for you.
- Please only just this toilet for passing urine, there is a toilet outside for the other purpose please, if you go through the back door and turn left there is a men’s toilet there or turn right and go through a door and the women’s toilet is up the stairs.
Phones and Internet
We do not mind if you have your mobile phone out during your lunch hour but this must be put away and on silent when your lunch finishes please.
Please feel free to use the internet also but ensure all personal browsers are shut down once its back to work time.
We don’t need any unnecessary distractions.
Shop
We’re a small team so if you’re going to the shop, we feel it is polite to ask your colleagues if they would like anything, we would expect them to ask you too.
Phones:
We d expect every team member to be able to answer the phone, this doesn’t just fall on the customer service department. Please look at the telephone SOM which will help you with how to answer the phone in a professional manner if you are unsure.
