KMED Offers
- The first steps can be done at any time before the offers go live:
- For each product that’s on offer, go to that product’s ‘Prices’ page.
- Set the Special Price, Special Price From Date, and Special Price To Date appropriately.
- The next step makes changes that will be visible on the site immediately: don’t do it until the offers are ready to go live.
- Go to Categories Management and empty (remove all products from) the ‘Special Offers’ category (ID 242)
- Go to the URL https://kmed.co.uk/st2019-set-special-offers.php
- This page will take several seconds to load: it moves any product that has a special price *that’s active at the time the script Is run* to the special offers category. It won’t remove items from that category (which is why you need to empty the category first)
- The ProLabels plugin should automatically update the offer label for any product in that category – it shouldn’t be necessary to reload the labels.
