Setting up WooCommerce in WordPress

1. Go to the back end of your site
2. Navigate to plugins
3. Click Add New
4. Search for WooCommerce
5. It should be the first result, which is by Automattic
6. Click Install Now
7. Once its installed click Activate
8. You’ll then be taken to the store setup wizard page
9. On Store Setup, insert the details for the store you are setting up. Remember to select whether you will sell physical and/or digital products.
10. Click continue
11. In payment, select the payment methods you will accept. Additional payment methods can be installed later if you need them.
12. Click continue
13. In Shipping, select which countries you will ship to and with what methods, and flat rate costs.
14. Click continue
15. In extras, you can set automated taxes, though this is not compulsory.
16. You can connect your store to Jetpack if you wish, this will allow insights, better security but ask the account manager/Keir if this is required.
17. It’ll then take you to the ready to activate page. From here you can add an email address, start creating or importing products, or return to your dashboard.
